This MOC started life as a "Crook's Tow Truck" from the 2014 Lego official set 60047-1 Police station (below).
It was an experiment to see whether I could build a Toyota Hilux 4x4 given the tow truck components & some scraps from a bulk lot with red guards and wheel hubs from 'Red' the fire truck from the Cars series. I have added a tow hitch to allow the vehicle to tow a trailer of some sort. The materials required in addition to the Crook's Truck are:-
This build taught me that trying to get definition into a 4 stud wide model is very difficult. This one could be any number of 4x4 pick up trucks in the same class.
